Under this bill, Veterans Day was moved to the fourth Monday of October. Numerous states did not concur with this choice and kept on praising the occasion on its unique date. The principal Veterans Day under the new law was seen with much disarray on Oct. 25, 1971. At long last on September 20, 1975, President Gerald R.
